Данный продукт интересен тем, что является не только полноценным графическим редактором для устройств основанных на платформе PocketPC, но и в чем-то даже конкурентом некоторых профессиональных графических редакторов.

Используя Pocket Phojo можно не только в походных условиях "подтянуть уровни", подправить баланс белого, наложить необходимые фильтры, но и многое другое.

Pocket Phojo может быть полезен фотокорреспондентам, работающим в режиме "он-лайн", которые стремятся предоставлять своим заказчикам фотоматериалы максимального качества в минимальные сроки.

• Pocket Phojo provides everything a photojournalist needs to edit, caption, and transmit photos.
• Nikon WT-1/WT-2 and Canon WFT-E1 WiFi Transmitter support ushers in a new era in high speed newsgathering by allowing images to be transmitted to the Pocket PC, automatically captioned, resized, recompressed, and retransmitted by FTP or Email via mobile phone, WiFi, satellite phone, or land line.
• Easy to use interface optimized to allow photos to be processed as rapidly as possible.
• Supercharged image browser displays twice the number of thumbnails at a time as before, and with lightning speed, so that thumbnails are displayed instantly, no matter how fast you scroll, or how many images are on a card.
• Support for only listing images tagged in-camera.
• The Pocket Phojo image processing engine has been completely redesigned to allow operations such as rotation, cropping and resizing to complete instantly.
• Crop now has the ability to scale the image to fixed dimensions if needed. This was implemented for the Associated *Press, and allows shooters to skip the extra step of scaling images to 8x10" at 300DPI for example before transmitting.
• Image inspection tools such as magnify and graphical histogram.
• An image navigator is now available which displays a tappable zoomed out thumbnail for fast panning around at 100%, which makes checking sharpness even easier than before.
• Standard image enhancement filters such as Levels, Color Correct (adjust the Red/Green/Blue/Hue/Saturation/Brightness/Contrast/Gamma/Exposure levels), and Unsharp Mask, now with real-time feedback.
• Full support for embedding industry standard IPTC information (headline, byline, caption, category, location etc.) into jpeg files.
• Built-in FTP upload and browsing support, with background transmission and queuing, so that work can progress on the next image while the last one is uploading.
• Supports multiple FTP profiles for transmitting to different servers, and Active/Passive transfers.
• Built-in Email transmission support, with multiple recipients, so that you can send images via email as easily as via FTP, with the same batch transfer, background transmission and queuing system.
• Send Via Email now supports sending via Idruna's SMTP server for customers using Verizon or similar providers that do not have their own server.
• Uses the Pocket PC's standard contacts list for easy address book management, and the most important IPTC fields are automatically included in the email to save time for the recipient.
• Folder Watching makes it easy to configure Phojo to automatically process and transmit files as they arrive in user defined folders, including watching CompactFlash/SD card slots for insertion for scenarios when the entire contents of a card needs to be processed.
• The Transmit Folder feature allows entire folders to be batch processed and transmitted by FTP, Email, or File Copied to a network share, storage card, or even to an external portable USB hard drive.
• Transmit Folder can also format the card when done, chime when done, rename and renumber files, create a new folder for each transfer, and has the option to only transfer tagged files.
• WiFi 802.11b support - in conjunction with Pocket PC with built-in Wifi or a WiFi card, Pocket Phojo can now wirelessly transfer the entire contents of a CompactFlash card to a remote network share, ideal for sports stadiums or other events with WiFi coverage.
• The file browser and caption editor can play wave files associated with images to help with image identification.
