Sound Recorder Resco Audio Recorder offers a wide range of sound formats, all the way from high quality formats to formats consuming very little memory space. The program offers formats intended mainly for recording of speech as well as formats intended for recording of music. Everyone can find just what he/she needs.
Music Player Even though the name suggests that the Resco Audio Recorder is intended mainly for recording of sounds, its playback abilities don9??t stand far behind. Resco Audio Recorder offers you comfortable playback using playlists as well as the possibility to modify playlists. Another useful feature of the Resco Audio Recorder is the possibility to turn off the display during playback. It saves a lot of energy during longer playback sessions.
Sound Editor Resco Audio Recorder allows you to perform several basic operations with your recordings. These include simple cutting and export. Tags are marked track portions, which you can play independently or which can be stored into a separate file. You can perform all necessary tag operations, such as creating, modifying, erasing and exporting.
Voice Activated System and Gain Control VAS (Voice Activated System) interrupts recording if the loudness of the recorded sound drops below certain preset level. You should use it especially if there are long pauses between individual sounds you wish to record. Gain control should be used with very silent sound sources. You should experiment a little with the settings, as the result depends on the Pocket PC model used and on particular sound conditions.
Desktop Audio Recorder Desktop Audio Recorder is a Windows Desktop application distributed as part of the Audio Recorder. This program allows you to change the format of existing recordings and to export them to Pocket PC. The common user can just choose the codec to be used when exporting (i.e. WAV, RAF, OGG, SPX, or MP3). More advanced users can modify also other properties of the target format.
